Instructor's Training Workshop
 

From time to time IFPS presents an
INSTRUCTOR TRAINING WORKSHOP (ITW) for ACCREDITED INSTRUCTOR (AI)
and
AUTHORIZED JOB PERFORMANCE PROCTOR (AJPP)

There are several criteria that must be met before completing the Accredited Instructor application. These criteria are:

Ø      Candidate must be a Member-In-Good-Standing of the Fluid Power Society.

Ø      Candidate must have at least five years of experience in Fluid Power, either in industry or in a formal teaching / training position.

Ø      Candidate must have successfully completed at least one Certification test prior to taking the ITW.

Ø      If taking the Job Performance Training Workshop (JPTW), candidate must have successfully completed a job performance test and hold at least one Mechanic or Technician Certification prior to taking the workshop.  

á     Please note, this does not apply to candidates who are only interested in training certification candidates on the Specialist level.

Note:
            This three-day workshop does not train an instructor to be an instructor.  Attendees MUST already have instructor skills that will be judged during their presentation on day two.  Fluid Power Society Accredited Instructor status is then subject to Board approval based on presenter’s and other attendee’s evaluation of the applicant.
