Each year, the Fluid Power Society hosts Instructor Training Workshops (ITW) to train Certified Members to become Accredited Instructors who will train prospective certification candidates for the Fluid Power Society’s Certification Program. 

There are several criteria that must be met before completing the Accredited Instructor application.  

These criteria are: 

Ø      Candidate must be a Member-In-Good-Standing of the Fluid Power Society.

Ø      Candidate must have at least five years of experience in Fluid Power, either in industry or in a formal teaching/ training position.

Ø      Candidate must have successfully completed at least one Certification test prior to taking the ITW.

Ø      If taking the Job Performance Training Workshop (JPTW), candidate must have successfully completed a job performance test and hold at least one Certification prior to taking the workshop.  

á      Please note, this does not apply to candidates who are only interested in training certification candidates on the Specialist level. 

To register for an ITW, please:

Ø      Complete, sign, and return the ITW/JPT application, with professional resume and payment to FPS headquarters (address below).  

• Instructor Training Workshop                                     $ 350.00* for the two day session

• Job Performance Training Workshop                        $160.00*(optional) one additional day. 

• July 21 - 23, 2008, CFC-Solar, Cincinnati, Ohio

• Registration Deadline: June 23, 2008

ØCancellation Policy:

• Ø      If, for any reason, an ITW should need to be cancelled, you will receive a full refund from the Fluid Power Society.

• Ø      If, for any reason, you should need to cancel, the following rules will apply:

• §         14 or more days prior to Workshop                Full Refund

• §         Less than 14 days prior to Workshop             50% Refund
