Technical Presentation: ifm controls & sensors

Ifm efector offers a complete product family designed to perform in the severe requirements associated with your mobile application. 

The presentation will start with a historical perspective on control in mobile equipment, discuss the technical requirements necessary in this environment (shock, vibration, temperature extremes, electrical noise, moisture, etc.) and conclude with a product overview including the use of CANOpen.

R360 Robust programmable controller: This rugged unit offers a flexible I/O configuration, built in CAN interface and standardized IEC 61131-3 programming platform.

TDM Operator interface: An LCD interface designed to operate in low temperatures and display graphic or menu based information to the operator.

SAE J1939 Gateway: Provides a simple means of exchanging data between the vehicle powertrain and the application.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


CAN I/O modules: Reduce wiring harness complexity by allowing simplified sensor and actuator connection.
