Minutes of December Meeting: (December 10, 2003)
· Ryan Remmers opened the meeting.
· Old Business: What happened with a possible Fluid Power display at the Science Museum? Last time we discussed this it was determined that it was too much money. Ryan Remmers and Harry Thomas agreed to revisit the idea and determine if fundraising the money was feasible. They are also going to look into gaining support from IFPS-National for the display, and possible Vendor/Manufacturer sponsorships.
· New Business: Harry Thomas gave treasury report. ($7095.00)
· New Business: Discussed and agreed to change meeting day from Wednesday to Thursday to accommodate more members. We also discussed alternating meeting locations between Orlando and Tampa to accommodate those members on Florida’s west coast. We will revisit this at the next meeting.
· New Business: IFPS National meeting is scheduled for January 28-31, 2004, in Tampa, FL. We decided to hold our next meeting in Tampa on January 29 to coincide with this. Greg George agreed to get with John Freeman to coordinate the meeting specifics.
· New Business: Meeting topics were discussed for future meetings. Ideas for possible presenters included Shambam (Kingston/Vickers), Gresen/Parker, Florida Seal and Rubber, Predict, and Noria.
