- NOTES FROM THE OFFICERS –
FLUID POWER SOCIETY, OKLAHOMA CHAPTER - 63
We are looking forward to a very exciting year for the Oklahoma Chapter – 63. This year’s officers are working very hard to energize and continue to revitalize the chapter. With that said be on the lookout for more surveys. Remember those surveys that you filled out the April meeting this spring? The question was “What would be the primary reason for you to attend a IFPS monthly meeting?” The results are as follows. There was a tie for third that is why you see two 3’s, but no 5.
April Survey Results
Top 5
1. To increase Technical Knowledge
2. Tours
3. Technical Orientated Lectures and Seminars
3. Stay in Touch with Advances in the Field
4. Meet other Fluid Power Professionals
The results from these surveys are the foundation of future meetings and gatherings. We actually read every one of them, and are going to attempt to structure our future functions around them.
It is with great sadness that we announce the departure of Gerald Manley as Vice President from our officers’ ranks. Gerald has accepted a position in St. Louis, Missouri. He and his family are relocating there. We wish him all the very best in his future ventures, and thank him for his service to our organization.
With that said we really look forward to seeing you at Meridian Technology in Stillwater later this month.
