Fluid Power Training and Education

If you have up to 20 individuals interested in a Customized Training Program, Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic Fundamentals or Certification Review Training; the Fluid Power Society can coordinate an onsite training session at your facility.

A customized onsite training program can range in length from two days to several weeks. It is fully customized to your machinery and personnel. Fundamentals hydraulic and pneumatic training programs are typically one week in duration however can range from three days to two weeks.


Certification review training typically involves 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 days of instruction, reviewing key principles and core competencies that will be tested. The Job Performance Test (for Mechanic, Technician or C&C Certification) is given the afternoon of day three or day four with the written exam given the morning of day four or day five. The Job Performance Test (for Mechanic, Technician or C&C Certification) must be proctored by an Accredited Instructor and the written exam by an independent proctor, which is retained by IFPS.


Associated Investment

Instructor: IFPS will provide an accredited instructor at a net cost of $1,200/day.

Living Expenses: Per Diem at the rate of $40/day will be charged for each day of travel and instruction.

Air Fare: Will be billed by copy of actual invoice for instructor’s round trip airfare.

Car Rental: A midsize car rental will be billed by copy of actual invoice

Hotel: Accommodations will be billed by copy of actual invoice.
