International Associate Members
International Associate Member (IAM): International Associate Member
(IAM) Eligibility: Open to any non-profit group or association located
outside of North America whose goals align with the International Fluid
Power Society’s (IFPS) mission. An IAM must comply with IFPS bylaws and
its members who also become individual IFPS members would be eligible to
hold office and vote in the IFPS. An IAM is not a Chapter of the IFPS
and is not eligible for Chapter financial incentives.
Cost for 1st year membership: $1,000.00 USD Subsequent yearly dues
$500.00 USD

International Associate Member:
- Formalized association with IFPS
- Use of IFPS Logo (see logo use policy)
- (4) Individual IFPS memberships for IAM leaders
- Listing in the IFPS International Directory, (available in pdf.
format online) which provides list of all IFPS members, certifications,
and contact information. (if desired)
- List IAM events in IAM corner of IFPS website and in The Fluid
Power Journal when appropriate
- 20% discount on individual IFPS memberships
- The group is permitted to collect their own dues and use them for
their own projects and events
- Distribute Fluid Power Journal to members by sending in bulk to
main IAM contact
Individual Member:
- Application must be sent from an IAM officer which confirm that
applicant is a member of IAM
- Access to the IFPS “Members-Only” website
(This includes access to study guides, manuals, and certification
pre-tests)
- Delivery of The Society Page, a bi-monthly E-Newsletter
- Membership contributes to recertification units
- Listed, along with certifications, in the IFPS International
Directory
- Substantial discounts on training, industry publications and
certifications (where available)
- Complimentary subscription to the Fluid Power Journal
