Accredited Instructors and Job Performance Proctors

 
IFPS supports career advancement through ongoing education and training. Our Accredited Instructors are certified professionals who train and prepare candidates for IFPS Certification Programs.
 
IFPS Accredited Instructors have extensive backgrounds and instructional experience in the fluid power industry. In addition to their instructor accreditation, they are committed IFPS members and hold various levels of IFPS certifications.
 
Becoming an IFPS Accredited Instructor (AI):
Requirements:
  • Individual must hold at least one IFPS certification before attending the Instructor Training Workshop (ITW.)
  • Maintain IFPS membership and certification(s).
  • Register for and attend an Instructor Training Workshop (ITW.) It is suggested not to make travel arrangements at this time.
  • Select a topic from the topics list and prepare to present the selected topic for 40-minutes, with a 5 minute Q&A session.*
  • An AI applicant must sign an AI agreement upon completion of the ITW.
*At least 14 days prior to the Workshop - Submit a presentation outline on the selected topic. The outline should be submitted by e-mail as a .DOC, .PPT, etc. In lieu of an outline, full presentations may be e-mailed.

Becoming an Authorized Job Performance Proctor (AJPP):
If a certified individual would like to become an Authorized Job Performance Proctor (AJPP) for all mechanic and technician level job performance (hands-on section) tests, he or she must meet the following requirements:
  • An applicant must hold either an IFPS Mechanic or Technician Certification or hold a Hydraulic Specialist or Pneumatic Specialist certification and pass a job performance test.
  • Maintain IFPS membership, certification and must be reaccredited every five (5) years.

Becoming an Authorized Connector and Conductor Job Performance Proctor (AJPCC):
If a certified individual would like to become an Authorized Job Performance Proctor (AJPCC) for the Connector and Conductor job performance (hands-on section) test, he or she must meet the following requirements:
  • An applicant must hold the CC Certification.
  • Maintain IFPS membership, certification and must be reaccredited every five (5) years.
