Thank you for your interest in the Detroit Chapter of the IFPS. We are proud to say that our chapter was the first chapter formed in the IFPS in 1959. Our meetings are held once per month from September through June. We conduct tours, present educational information, are involved in student scholarship awards, and host golf outings. Our meetings generally start at 6:00 p.m. with presentations lasting approximately 45 minutes. Chapter 1 meetings are open to all individuals interested in fluid power. Attendance at our meetings allows certified members to accumulate points required for recertification.

November 2010The first meeting of the season will be at CRS Service and the speaker will be Jim Andersen from Vest, Inc.. Jim will be discussing Fluid Power productivity using the internet and also show a study on how to reduce pressure drop in manifolds.
