A Technical Workshop"International Standard IEC 61131 for Programmable Logic Controllers" will be presented on Monday, September 25, 2017. Participation in this workshop contributes towards recertification and AI reaccreditation requirements. A Job Performance test is also scheduled for Monday.

Registration Fees - Registration must be received by September 8th (after  September 8th, a $25 late fee will be applied.)

“International Standard IEC 61131 for Programmable Logic Controllers”

Presented by Ken Dulinski, CFPAI/ CFPECS Macomb Community College

This workshop will present complete coverage of the syntax, operands, and operators of the six available programming languages of the IEC61131-3 programming standard – Ladder Logic, Instruction List, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, and Continuous Function Chart. The IFPS Electronic Controls Specialist Certification Test requires knowledge of this standard as one of the primary outcomes. Applications will be covered along with visualizations using each of the languages.
