The next Chapter meeting is on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 4H building 6021 S.Conway Road, Orlando 32812. This month's meeting is being held in conjunction with the Mobile Hydraulic Technician (MHT) job performance review and exam which is proctored by Greg George. The MHT candidates will be receiving 16 hours of review to help prepare for the exam. It is anticipated that most if not all of the candidates reviewing for the MHT exam Thursday will stay for the evening meeting at 6:30 pm. Snacks and refreshments will be provided and as usual the meeting is scheduled to conclude between 8:00-8:30 pm.
One of the topics on the meetings agenda will be the proposal of a third educational webinar to be held during the summer recess. In previous years topics have included the advantages of becoming IFPS Certified and ways to reduce energy costs. We will have an update on this in the June edition of this newsletter.
One of the primary missions of the IFPS is to facilitate and promote the advancement of technology and professionalism of the fluid power & motion control industry through Awareness, Education and Certification.
