Most new, and current, compressors use migrating, high detergent, synthetic lubrication to improve the efficiency of making compressed air. Oil Removal (also called coalescing) filters protects the dynamic seal components of air preparation, valves, and cylinders, at point of use by removing this “bad” oil from the compressed air. "
