About the presenters:
Tom Blansett, CFPAI, CFPS, IFPS Technical Director, holds a BS degree from Montana State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. He has been working in the Fluid Power and Motion Control field for 40 years, with 10 years spent actively serving in the US Navy as a Machinist’s Mate Chief Petty Officer. During this time, Tom was involved with the maintenance and operation of shipboard propulsion and auxiliary support systems.
Denis Poirier, Jr., CFPAI, CFPHS, joined the Eaton Hydraulics Business in 2013. He is an experienced professional with a successful career in the development and delivery of instructor lead hydraulic training for internal and external sales staff; engineering personnel; distributor organizations; industrial maintenance technicians; mobile maintenance mechanics; industrial maintenance managers; mobile equipment supervisors; and all other associated hydraulic professionals. He is a licensed journeyman in the electronics mechanic trade; a Master Training Specialist with the Center for Naval Education and Training; a licensed Training Specialist with Southern Illinois University; holds a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development; and certified as a Hydraulics Specialist, Accredited Instructor and Job Performance Exam Proctor with the International Fluid Power Society.
