Pneumatic Technician

The PT prepares and revises pneumatic and vacuum system schematics, performs basic component sizing calculations, develops and documents test procedures and can supervise system installations and commissioning. All Technician certifications require a three (3)-hour written and a three (3)-hour job performance (hands-on) test.

Pneumatic Technician (PT) applies pneumatic and vacuum theory and related knowledge to test and troubleshoot operational and prototype pneumatic and vacuum systems and applications under the guidance of an engineer.
